The original textured crochet doily in the form of a sun with a face in the center and a border-rays is created by Daria Dubchak.
The doily is crochet in rounds, starting from the center, without breaking thread (26 rounds in total).

Materials: cotton yarn 25 g/ 150 m (about 300 m in total), crochet hook 1,25 mm.
When using such materials, the dimensions of the finished doily are about 35 cm, the diameter of the central circle with the face is about 13 cm.
To make your doily beautiful, you need make careful blocking not only along the outer contour, but also along the line of the inner circle and some details of the face.

Wanted skills: crochet according to the diagram/chart, front/back post crochet etc. The pattern includes some written instructions in English and Russian for the most difficult sections. Please note, that it is not a complete written pattern, you need to crochet following to the chart!
