Just in time for some summer fun, this bag works up quickly in a fun sparkly bulky yarn and is perfect for picnics, beach trips, or a night out.

This is an intermediate project. There are links on my blog for some of the special stitches used.

This bag is made in 3 pieces, two circles for the bag body which are worked in the round. One rectangular piece that functions as the strap and bag bottom.

If you want to make the strap longer I would suggest getting an extra skein of yarn as this project will use exactly 3 skeins of suggested yarn (sugar bush glaze).

Feel free to line your bag if you prefer a more structured bag.

Finished dimensions: 10 diameter of circles
Usable Strap =35in long X 2 inches wide (not including amount for bottom)
