This summery blanket inspired by the beach is perfect for wrapping up a new born for a walk in the pram.

The idea for this blanket came to me as the nights started to darken, the air got colder and I felt the need to work on something bright and cheerful. I happened to have some yellow and turquoise DK cotton and felt the combination to be very evocative of summer. Of course this will work just as well in one colour or alternative colour ways

The size of the blanket is easily adapted by modifying the number of repeat stitches you cast on (10 stitches in the repeat) and adjusting the length you knit to.
