Sun of the Beach Tote Bag
This beautiful bag is so roomy and durable! The pattern is clearly written with step by step instructions and lots of photos. Using very basic stitches -single crochet and double crochet- the bottom half of the bag is done in
single crochet to produce a tighter fabric in order to securely hold yourcontents in the bag. The top of the bag is done in a beautiful array ofdouble crochets & single crochets that produce a lacy shell pattern. The shoulder strap is folded lengthwise; this discourages the strap from stretching out too much when the contents of the bag are heavy. I”m happy to help if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out. I hope
you enjoy this pattern as much as I did! Have fun!
Supplies needed:
Yarn: 14 oz of Worsted weight #4, I recommend cotton or a cotton blend. I used approx. 4 skeins (3.5 oz/100g/180 yd/165m each) of Caron Cotton Cakes in the color Morning Dew. I used a self striping yarn, but you are welcome to use any colors you wish, if you want it all one color or if you want multiple colors, just feel
free to change color wherever you wish to. The pattern will not instruct you as to when to change colors, this will be a personal choice for you to decide.
