Sun Slice
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This modular piece is a great way to while away the Winter hours, one slice at a time! Before electricity and refrigeration were available to everyone, fruit in winter was expensive, a luxury not many could afford. Winters were hard, and long nights might be spent talking, reading, or spinning by the fire. I was inspired to use this gorgeous handspun in citrus colors; the “orange slices” show the color changes and can be made until you run out of yarn. During a long, cold Winter, these little slices of sunshine will spread warmth and cheer to you and your loved ones!
