Sunburst
Every morning at dawn my dog and I walk through the neighborhood. We greet each new day with a sense of renewed energy as the first rays of sunlight burst over the horizon. Sunburst is an ear warming headband knit in the round that captures my morning excursion through the use of stranded color work. It is very stretchy and will fit a variety of sizes.
Skills Required: working in the round, reading a chart, k2tog

Materials
Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Sport (137 yds/50 g, 100% Peruvian Highland Wool), 1 skein each Sport weight yarn CYCA 2, Claret Heather (MC) and Papaya Heather (CC).
US size 4 3.5 mm circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge.
US size 5 3.75 mm circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge.

25 sts and 25 rnds = 4” 10 cm using larger needles in chart pattern worked in the round. To save time, take time to check the gauge.
