Sunday Reel
Just your basic ribbed sock - except not.
Sunday Reel is a sock pattern worked toe-up. The socks are mostly simple and neat ribbing but feature a special and fun gusset pattern. The instructions are written for magic loop technique on a long circular needle but you can easily work them on dpns.
Size
M, 64 sts, to fit foot circumference 8.5’’ / 22 cm.
Yarn
Wonderland Yarns Mary Ann (85 % merino, 15 % nylon 434 m/113 g), or other light fingering weight yarn. Shown in color Clotted Cream.
1 skein.
The required yardage depends on the length of the foot and leg.
Needles
US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needles (or dpns). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge.
Gauge
16 sts x 22 rnds = 2x2’’/5x5 cm in stockinette stitch (after blocking).

1 stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle.
