My husband and I take a walk in nature most every Sunday. It’s a special time for connecting and recharging the inner batteries for a new week ahead. With the colder season upon us, a bit of extra warmth is especially appreciated for those chilly mornings and evenings. And so this headband/earwarmer was born…

This headband/earwarmer is like a mini knitting sampler featuring a nice variety of stitches: easy-to-knit cables, twisted stitches, knit and purl, and moss stitch edges (which prevents the piece from curling). Designed to be knitted to desired length and knit flat. Both the right side and the wrong side have equal appeal, making this reversible, if desired. Gauge is not crucial to the success of this project. DK yarn is recommended, but have fun with the pattern and try different yarns/needle sizes as desired. The overall design is unisex, making it a great accessory for everyone. This is a quick and easy knit that can be worked up with a small amount of yarn. A fun stash buster project. This also makes an ideal gift to knit. A cable needle is recommend, but can be achieved with out using one.
