The Reversible Mille Colori Duo - Visor Cap & Cabled Scarf

The sides of the scarf are identical. The visored cap can be worn with RS or WS facing out. Both sides look beautiful and seem very different: RS is knit st stockinette with star-shaped decreases; WS is purl st stockinette with a star of knit stitches protruding from the fabric. If you use small buttons, you can still attach one to both sides. If the button is as big as mine, however, it is a bit uncomfortable when WS is worn facing out. The visor looks exactly the same from both sides.

Pattern files include

• a schematic representation of the visor in scale to be used as a template for cutting your piece of plastic
• a chart for the pattern repeats of the scarf and
• photos demonstrating two techniques for increasing stitches.

The yarn is a one of the most wonderful multi-color super-chunky yarns on the market and quick to knit. What I like most about it is its softness and that there is a slight shininess to it, which gives it a bit of an extravagant look. In addition to the pattern I included the Lang Yarns Mille Colori Big color chart as a pdf file.

• Yarn: Lang Yarns Mille Colori Big, 2 skeins: ~ 14.1 oz / 400 g = 416 yd / 380 m (color 0039 = Terra Cotta)
• Set of double-pointed needles US 11 / 8 mm
• Cable needle (or US 11 / 8 mm double-pointed needle)

Das Mille Colori Wendepaar - Schirmmütze & -Zopfmusterschal

Die Schalseiten sind identisch. Dagegen sehen die beiden Seiten der Mütze sehr unterschiedlich aus, beide haben jedoch ihren Reiz: Die rechte Seite ist glatt re mit Abnahmen in Sternform, auf der linken Seite verläuft der Stern der Abnahmen als einzelne rechte hervorstehende Masche auf linkem Grund. Wenn Sie kleine Knöpfe verwenden, können Sie auf beiden Seiten einen anbringen. Wenn Sie wie ich einen großen Knopf für diese Mütze mögen, stört er beim Tragen etwas, wenn Sie die andere Seite außen tragen. Der Mützenschirm sieht auf beiden Seiten identisch aus.

Die Strickmusterdateien beinhalten

• die geschriebene Anleitung,
• eine maßstabsgetreue schematische Zeichnung des Schirms als Schneideschablone,
• einen Chart für den Schalmusterrapport und
• Fotos, die die verwendeten Zunahmetechniken erklären.

Das Garn ist eines der schönsten Multicolor-Schnellstrickgarne auf dem Markt. Es ist wunderbar weich und glänzt ganz leicht, was ihm einen extravaganten Look verleiht. Ich habe neben den Strickmusterdateien auch die Farbkarte der Lang Yarns Mille Colori Big als PDF-Datei eingestellt.
