YOU WILL NEED:
Yarn (Most yarns will work perfectly for this, given you also select an appropriately sized hook. I used double strands of DK. Colors: dark green, light green, brown, dark yellow, light yellow.)
Hook (4mm or another appropriate size depending on what hook you use)
Hot glue gun
A small amount of stuffing
Dowel
Wire

YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW:
st - stitch
ch - chain
slst - slip stitch
sc - single crochet stitch
dc - double crochet (US), treble crochet (UK)
tr - treble crochet (US), double treble (UK)
inc - increase (in this case, inc is always 2sc in the same st)
tog - several stitches closed together
Lsc - long sc, sc that goes into the row before last to make a longer stitch
