To make this blanket 80cm W x 90cm L (with a margin of error of 5cm) exactly as shown you will need the following materials:

• 2x Cakes of Caron Cakes Yarn (Rainbow Sherbet)
o You will be playing yarn chicken at the end with 2 cakes. So if you don’t have nerves of steel you should either buy an extra 100g (128 meters/140 yards) of aran yarn for the border, or an additional cake.

Or

• 10x Skeins of Rico Creative Cotton (2x 50g keins each of the following: light pistachio, light yellow, tangerine, light blue, sky blue) o You will be playing yarn chicken at the end with 10 skeins. So if you don’t have nerves of steel you should buy an extra 100g (128 meters/140 yards) of aran yarn for the border.

• 6mm Crochet Hook (US: J/10, UK and CA: 4)

• 5mm Crochet Hook (US: H/8, UK and CA: 6)

• Yarn Needle

• Blocking Mat

• Blocking Pins

If you wish to use a different type of yarn than what I have used, the specifications are as follows:

• Cotton or wool blend
