Sunflower C2C Cushion Cover
Create a colorful sunflower cushion! In this pattern I give row by row instructions on how to create this design with corner to corner crochet. Note: It does not contain instructions on how to do C2C crochet, you can find online tutorials to help you with that. The pattern contains full row by row instructions and a grid.
Difficulty Level: Beginner with color changing
Finished Size Guide: Sizes are estimated and depend on your tension and yarn. Corner to Corner with Weight 4 yarn: 16” by 16”. For other techniques, check how big a stitch or block of your method is - the grid is 27 blocks wide by 27 blocks tall.
Recommended Materials: Crochet hook - 5mm. Large bodkin for assembly and tidying ends if needed. Any cushion form approx 15” by 15” for stuffing.
Yarn: Any weight 4 yarn for this pattern in the appropriate colors as listed. I used Caron Simply Soft. You’ll need less than a ball of each color.
Gold (Yellow)
Pumpkin (Orange)
Dark Sage (Green)
Chocolate (Brown)
Skills Needed: Corner to Corner (C2C) crochet, color changing. Blanket stitch for joining sides. When you change color, ALWAYS pull the NEW color through as the final loop in the last C2C block of the old color and join using the new color. If you are only doing one block in that color, that block counts as the last block.
Other notes: I recommend some form of bobbins when crocheting this pattern to keep your yarn organized. As this is a cushion cover it is one sided so you won’t need to sew in any ends! So be free to cut your yarn and start new whenever you feel like it. Tie it off at the back as needed.
