This fun crochet pattern is for making pretty sunflower coasters :)

These coasters will add pretty flowers to your coffee or dining table; or may be delightful gifts !!

Diameter of the coasters is about 6.3 inches (16 cm), and they are shaped as a sunflower doily.

This is a really fun pattern, using standard crochet stitches and Tunisian Entrelac crochet stitches, which are described in detail.

These are great to crochet; you will learn them in this pattern (if you don’t know them already) and could use them in future projects.

There is no need for a long hook for this pattern; maximum loops on hook is 6.

The pattern includes 3 PDF files:

1. Detailed step by step photo tutorial for the coaster.
2. File without pictures for printing the coaster pattern.
3. Photo tutorial explaining how to join new yarn without a slipknot.

All are written in US English terms.

It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the pattern by following the photo tutorial first.

The printable version is best used when you already know the pattern.

Skill level: Intermediate.
A basic knowledge of crochet techniques and stitches required.

1. Yarn: Paintbox Yarns Simply DK, 100gr. or any other brand of DK yarn. The amount of yarn required is detailed in the PDF file.
2. 3.5mm (Metric) E/4 (US) crochet hook.
3. Scissors.
4. Tapestry needle.
5. Stitch markers (optional).
