This pattern is available from etsy.com for $1.50.

You will need two skeins of worsted weight (#4) yarn in a yellow and brown color. You will have more than enough to make a couple of these out of these two skeins. Gauge is not essential but you do want to make sure that your starting FHDC fits around the intended wearer’s head snugly but not too tight. For my pattern I started with FHDC of 72.

This pattern uses the crocodile stitch.

I used a G or 4.00 mm hook.

I used Red Heart With Love yarn.

This pattern is easily adjusted to fit any size head. You just want to make sure that you have an even number of FHDC when starting. If you do not know how to make a FHDC, you can also chain a total of 73 ch, hdc in first ch and each ch after for a total of 72 HDC. Slip stitch to first HDC, making sure not to twist. Then follow instructions from there.
