Hi there, Thank you so much for looking at my pattern. I use different types of cotton embroidery thread. So if its DMC, STAR, JPCOATS- if it’s cotton it works great.
If you use a larger hook size you will get a much larger earring and a smaller hook size means smaller earring. I have found that 1.65mm is the best size for this type of earring.
Also if you want the earrings to be on the stiffer side, stiffening spray or starch will work really well.
