Sunflower Fields
“Wild horses couldn’t drag me away”
The Barbed Dragon’s colorway Wild Horses got the ball rolling on this Texas inspired knit. What better way to represent for the Lone Star State than with boot toppers? Yee haw!!!
Visions of weathered fences and barn doors is what inspired the angled pattern, but in the end, once it was knit, the toppers reminded me of sunflowers.
Every time I see them, I want to put them on with my boots and spend the day in the country, away from civilization, in a field, under the sun. I hope they give you the same sense of warmth they give me.
The pattern is written in one size, but is easily adjustable. Just cast on any multiple of 5.
