A quick and easy cowl and fingerless mitt set made from a variation of the granny square.

Using super chunky yarn such as the Wool Couture Cheeky Chunky means this set can be made in around 4 hours.

The cowl fits around your neck once and can either be wrapped around your ears and face, left loose or folded at the front to fit under a coat or jacket.

The giant granny square design gives it a fun and funky look.

You only need 3 x 100g balls of the Cheeky Chunky yarn from Wool Couture and this makes the cowl and a pair of matching fingerless mitts.

The pattern can be made with DK yarn held double, opening up many possibilities for colour and yarn choices.

This is the beta version of the pattern released 25 Jan 2019 and has not been tech edited or tested. I am offering it at a 50% discount of the final sale price and anyone can make it and send me test comments back. I have commissioned my own testers and tech editor and the final version will be on Ravelry at the end of Feb 2019. Your pattern version will update then and you will have the final version. This will include a full video tutorial on how to make the square motif, how to join as you go, and how to finish the cowl and mitts with a simple border.
