This hat was especially designed for the five year anniversary of the Colourful CAL’s/KAL’s & Projects Group in July 2020.

It’s fun and colourful!
The pattern is very detailed, instructions are given round by round, accompanied by photos.

Size information:

Diameter of the crown is 5.9 inch/15 cm
Measurement from brim to crown is 3.5 inch/9 cm (height of the flower granny square loop)
Diameter of the brim is 14 inch/36 cm
The circumference on the inside is 23 inch/58 cm

Note on the circumference: the 6 squares are 7.5 cm wide which is 45 cm, but as the join and the squares are stretchy, the circumference is wider than expected. If you would like it to be less wide, crochet the squares together with sc stitches instead of the given join as you go method. To create a smaller hat, use sock yarn or a thin cotton.
