This No-Sew Sunflower Sea Turtle is ready to be created, so he/she can spread a bit of sunshine. Even ‘unda da sea’ needs a little sun! Your purchase of this digital crochet pattern will include instructions with detailed pictures of the head, fins, body, sunflower petals and how to assemble into one, no-sew bundle of cuteness!

This pattern is written using American terminology and is worked in continuous rounds.

Guage:
upon using the same hook size and yarn, your turtle will be the approximate sizes:
Length from head to tail = 4″
width from fin to fin = 4″
height =1 1/2″ – 2″

Skill Level:
This is a beginner level pattern with the assumption that you are already familiar with all of the crochet terms listed in the ‘abbreviations’ section. It has also been designed with the assumption that you have prior experience making amigurumi products. With that being said, I am more than happy to answer and assist with any questions!

Tools:
3.5mm crochet hook
Darning needle
Stitch markers
Poly-fil stuffing
8 mm safety eyes

Yarn Specifics:
Any #3 or #4 weight yarn will work. Acrylic and cotton work best for the stuffie, but using wool in the blanket is acceptable.
You may use any colors you would like, but keep in mind, I have coordinated the instructions based on the colors that I used.

For my sunflower sea turtle, I use Paintbox Yarns Simply DK in the colors listed below. You will need less than one skein for each of the following colors:
beige = taupe (#75)
brown = coffee bean (#110)
yellow = buttercup yellow (#122)
green = slate green (#126)
