This design was inspired by the need for a quick project to make for a thank you gift to a friend that opened her home to me while attending a conference away from home. Her kitchen was done in a country style with a few sunflower accents.

The center of this dishcloth is done in seed stitch and the petals in garter stitch. You’ll get plenty of practice with increases and decreases as you do the petals!

Gauge is not super important, and you can use a smaller gauge cotton and needles if you prefer a thinner, smaller dishcloth.
