Sunflowers
Sunflowers is a unique and fun knit. It offers a lot of variety, so you don’t get bored with any one section, and you learn a lot in the process. This design can be worn as a scarf or a shawl, and comes in one generous size that can be wrapped around the body twice in most cases. The shape is also unique, a very elongated arching shape, with the uniqueness coming from the way Sunflowers is worked - a master class in shaping….

Other Design Notes:
- Sunflowers is a part of the Knitted Embroidery (KE) family, incorporating the ‘sunflower’ KE element.
- The elongated shape starts from the sunflower ends to the center ending ICords, where the 2 sides are joined in a fun and unique way. Stitches are picked up to knit the center honeycomb portion in short rows. Finally, the border is knit primary in garter.
- Beads are used in the sunflowers and on the border, but they are optional. Instructions are provided for both options.
