I suggest you use cotton yarn, or any yarn that can be washed. One thing I do wish that I had done was add a zipper to one side of the pillow to allow the cover to come off, so feel free to do that to yours, but it is not necessary.
Pattern is great for any level of crocheter, or if you’re just wanting to practice your skills and put them to the test with a new shape!
I do have it listed in one size, however, you can make the squares bigger or smaller with either more rows or a bigger or smaller hook size and yarn weight. I was looking for a little accent pillow, when making this pattern.
Added materials will be a tapestry needle, scissors, and removeable stitch markers, along with the size pillow you want to cover.
I only needed 1 skein of each yarn. K+C Knit and Crochet Essential yarn in colors Golden Coast and Sequia. Along with Lion Brands Coboo yarn in color white.
