This is a beginner pattern for those who are familiar with basic amigurumi techniques.

Any crochet hook and yarn will work fine but I do recommend DK/8ply cotton for best results. I used 4 Seasons Flinders cotton yarn which can be found at Spotlight in NZ and Aus.
