For this pattern you will need:

Small amounts of various colours in the yarn of your choice. I used Stylecraft Special Double Knit but there is no reason why you can’t use a different weight, just remember to use the appropriate hook size (I used a 4mm).
Buttons
A darning needle
An iron for blocking or pins and PVA glue

Gauge is not important as long as it is consistent.
