The gauge does not really matter for this pattern - make the purse as large or as small as you wish! Increase or decrease the base chain by multiples of 6.

Work the stitches tightly so that small items are secure in the purse. This purse does not need to be lined.

This is the first pattern I’ve ever written, so please let me know if you spot something goofy and I will fix it.

You may wish to sew in a snap, button, or zipper closure.
