Sunny Top is a versatile top (tee-shirt or jumper) that can be summery, wintry or in between. It comes with a choice of two necklines and three sleeve lengths.

It is a top-down seamless knit starting with a circular yoke. Increases are made with a simple kfb and there are stitch count charts to help you keep track.

The neckline can be low for hot weather or brought up higher for cold weather with the short row instructions.

Choose 8ply/DK cotton or other similar summer yarns for a soft tee, 8ply/DK wool for a warm jumper, or mix it up with stash-busting stripes and 3/4-length sleeves.

The top is sized with a finished chest from 51-86 cm / 20 -34”, roughly corresponding to 1-16 years. On the average child this will result in about 1-2” of ease, but you will always get better results by choosing a size based on the child’s measurements rather than age.

Size 12 (79 cm / 31”): 685-810 m / 755-880 yd
Size 14 (82 cm / 32”): 755-890 m / 830-970 yd
Size 16 (86 cm / 34”): 820-965 m / 890-1055 yd
