Sunnydays Patchwork Square
A free version is also available.
The Sunnyday blanket square, this radiant large granny square, is an alternative version to the squares featured in the African Flowers Patchwork Afghan. Like a warm summer day warms my heart, this sun motif-inspired crochet square warms my heart.

Sunnyday Blanket Square Pattern is an all-rounder granny square with many uses and a perfect crochet square to be used in many DIY crochet projects like, cardigans, crochet pants, pillows, and bags, it works up into a solid blanket-type blanket with very limited lacy spaces.
For the crochet square pattern in the photo example, I used six bright colors: Bright yellow, Burnt orange, Deep red, Sea blue, Light denim blue, and natural cotton white. I used 6 skeins of yarn of 85m / 90 yards of yarn and could easily create 3 squares, but I had some leftover blue colored yarn, so if you switch up the center colors of yarn to use more blue colors, or use a more even distribution of colors in your rows, you can easily end up with 4 crochet squares using the above-mentioned quantity of yarn
Suggested yarn for pattern.
Photo tutorial and square examples are made up of cotton yarn, this is only used as a suggestion, any yarn of your choice can be used.
Lightweight yarn using a smaller crochet hook will make a smaller square, and heavier yarn using a larger crochet hook will result in a larger square.
