Sunray Shawl
Sunray Shawl was designed in the middle of a dark and cold winter. The lace pattern and the colorway vividly reminded me of the sun during these long months - hence the name. I am not a big fan of purling, so this time I decided to design the shawl on garter stitch ground. There is zero purling and the shawl is reversible.
Sunray is worked top-down and has patterning on almost every row – both right and wrong side. The main pattern is easy to learn and very repetitive. The edging is a bit more complicated, but not by much.
The stitch patterns have both charted and written instructions. The stitches used are k, yo, k2tog and skp. There are three different stitch patterns; one for body and two for edge.
The pattern has been professionally tech edited as well as test knitted, but if you have questions or believe you have found an error, please contact me.
