“Sunrays”

Beginnt mit einer “Sonne” im Nacken mit konzentrischen Kreisen aus links und rechts gestrickten Reihen und dann geht es weiter mit den neun “Sonnenstrahlen”:
Durch eine bestimmte Art von Maschenzunahme erhält man an den Zunahmestellen eine “umgekehrte” rechte Masche, die auf dem rechten Gestrick quasi “aufliegt”.

Sunrays - Row-by-row description without chart

This shawl starts with the “sun” in concentric circles at the nape side and grows into nine “sunrays” sections in ever widening rows. The special increase technique produces an “inverted” knit stitch on top of the stockinette in the increase spots.

You will need:
Yarn and matching needles, row counter, 8 stitch markers, kitchen scales (to determine how much yarn needed per row).

The pattern is fully written out and has no charts.
