This French Press cosy keeps your coffee warm because the cable & rib construction traps lots of air inside, providing good insulation.

This is a good first cable project or a straightforward project for an intermediate knitter. Only the larger cables are “real” cables - the rest is an easier cheat’s cable in eyelet rib. So it looks more complex than it is.

The standard size will fit most 1L (2pt) cafetieres - it was designed to fit both Bodum and Ikea cafetieres.

• MillaMia Naturally Soft Merino 100% wool, 125m/137yds per 50g ball. 2 balls Forest or colour of your choice.
• 3.25mm/US3 needles
• 3 x 14mm/ 1/2” buttons
• Sewing needle & matching thread (or split yarn plies) to attach buttons

Tension
25 sts x 34 rows to 10cm/4” over stocking stitch using 3.25mm/US3 needles or size required to achieve tension.
