This pattern was inspired by my visit to the beautiful city of Camp Verde, AZ! I really enjoyed watching the sun rise over mountains every morning. It made the whole area glow with amazing golden orange light! This headband is the perfect accessory for those early morning walks.

Yarn: DK weight, approximately 60 yards. I used Mary Gavin Yarns Hoodoo DK for my headband. Yarns used by testers are listed on the last page.
Hook: 4mm, or size needed to meet gauge.
Finished size: Made to measure! Can be made to any length to fit any size head. Headband is about 1.75” wide.
Gauge: First 11 rows of the center section should measure 4”. Each repeat will add approximately ¾”.
