This headband pattern was created by popular request to go along with the Sunrise Hat and Cowl patterns. When your ears are cold but you’re just not ready for a hat, try a headband instead! Perfect for people who like to wear their hair up.

This pattern uses the fair isle colorwork knitting technique. When doing colorwork, ensure that your stitches are not knit too tightly, or your headband will be too small. I find that gently stretching your work as you goh elps, as well as steam blocking the finished product. The colorwork in this pattern is both written and charted: either way you follow the instructions will result in the same headband.
