sunrise sunset mittens
These delightful mittens are knit with two strands of yarn held together -- a sock yarn and an alpaca yarn. The result? A double dose of fuzz and whimsy. The fuzz comes from the alpaca, the whimsy from the unpredictable speckle thingies that emerge when you knit with two strands of different-coloured yarn.
A friend saw a picture of my mittens and asked if I had a link to a pattern on Ravelry. Since I made up the design in my head, I had no link to give her… until now!
Pattern should produce a pair of mittens to fit an average woman’s hand.
