Sunset Cardigan
This design features an innovative way to use long-repeat or ombre yarns that makes a feature of the way the garment pieces fit together because there are no side seams in this design. Instead, the slow-changing colors of the yarn are shown off to great advantage where the two pieces of the body meet in the center-back seam.
The visual appeal of the color-changing yarn is further augmented by the off-set stripes that are a feature of the body, and the broad alternating stripes of the sleeves.
The classic V-neck styling, narrow borders and three-quarter sleeves make this a very easy style to make and to wear.
As an added bonus, the pattern also includes instructions for making the companion ‘Meadowsweet’ cardigan, which is plain version of this design.
