This Sunset Silhouette mosaic overlay pattern was constructed from an approximate 4000 yards of Scheepjes Color Crafter acrylic dk in 6 colors: 2000 yds Ede (black), 750 yds Alkmaar (petrol or teal), 150 yds Goes (duck egg or pale blue), 250 yds Nijmegan (gold), 300 yds Durum (bronzed orange), 600 yds Breda (clay, orangish-red). The recommended hook size is 3.5mm.

The blanket size is 60” x 45”. However, the written pattern includes a note on how to reduce the blanket to a 45” x 45” square. This will reduce the yardage by an approximate 900 yards (reductions will be minus one skein of each: Alkmaar, Ede, Breda). The yardage includes the optional double-sided border (500 yards of Ede)

Any good quality brand of DK/Light Worsted acrylic yarn will work well with this pattern and, while black is the primary color for the silhouette, background colors can be substituted.
