I wanted to create an easy design with colors, so I used a self-striping yarn and let the pattern highlight the yarn. The fabric is a simple combination of chain stitch lace and double crochet. The chain lace sections vary in length creating a whimsical, asymmetrical look. A simple rectangle with buttons, this piece can be worn as a shawl or a shrug.
