Sunshine easy lace scarf
21/03/2013: Just a small note. This was only a fun project for me and I didn’t expect so many “thanks”. Thank YOU for the interest. I was just recombining the elements. As I currently participating in KAL run by Yulia Vysochina “Count the Tiles Shawl” I took some pictures from her pattern while drawing on the paper then I transferred everything to excel.
I had to knit a scaf for my friend. She wanted something reminding her about Orenburg shawls. So I just took some very simple elements and combined them in one pattern.
You knit on both sides and use only K2Tog as in real Orenburg shawls (as far as I know).
You can use any laceweight yarn you like, fingering should also be nice.
You can easily make the scarf longer - just add couple of more repeats.
Hope you’ll enjoy this.
