Sunshine Lace Cardigan
Skill level: intermediate
Garment is knit in one piece from hem to armhole; then armhole sts are bound off and sleeve sts added and yoke is knit in one piece. Directions are given to make a shorter cardigan.
Materials: 4 (5,5,6) skeins of North Country Cotton from Cherry Tree Hill in color Spanish Moss
6 buttons, 1/2” diameter (I’m assuming the 6 1/2” diameter is an errata in the book. :D)
Book includes a pictured knitted example of an alternate ‘good choice’ yarn for a cooler weather garment: 7 (8,9,10,11) skeins of Inca Alpaca from Classic Elite Yarns (100% alpaca; 50 g; 109 yds) in color 1142
Book includes a pictured knitted swatch of a ‘not-so-good’ choice of alternate yarn (a single ply linen content yarn) and an explanation of why that’s not a good choice for this pattern.
