Sunshine The Bunny
This is a beginner to intermediate friendly pattern. If you can do sc, hdc, and dc stitches you will be able to make this bunny.
I used a skein and a half white and approximately 20g of both the light brown and dark brown for the basket.
I used Charity which is an acrylic yarn but you can substitute it with any yarn fiber and brand you prefer. If you want to adjust the size by using a different yarn weight also adjust the hooksize and take into consideration that the amount of yarn you will need will be different.
I also used 12mm safety eyes but the eyes can easily be embroidered if it intended for a small child or baby
I use pencil and crayon to blush the cheeks, ears and toes. It is non toxic and safe for children.
The basket is also very easy to make and is crocheted in 2 parts then woven together and sewn in place
The tricky part for me was the I cord technique for the basket’s handle. But once you have the hang of it in the 1st few stitches it becomes easier to do.
