Living in Auckland New Zealand, sunshowers are a very common way to get rained on - especially at this time of year coming into spring - and even more so, this year in particular.

This symmetrical crescent shaped shawl has asymmetric heavy garter cloud banks on either side, and then the sun breaks through just above you - and down comes the rain, sparkling in the light.

Charted and written instructions included. Finished size 200cm wingspan, 52cm deep.

Knitters please note - this shawl begins with Judy’s Magic cast on and an icord tab, and the top edges continue the icord along the top edge, throughout the shawl. If you are unfamiliar with that technique, please research and practice it with scrap yarn to make sure you are comfortable that you can do it, before purchasing this pattern.
