This is a simple, top down, no fuss sweater pattern for an infant; in super bulky yarn! If you thought baby knits are fast, just wait until you knit up this sweater. Using such thick yarn results in a cozy, plush, sweatshirt like sweater. But better than any store bought sweater because not only is it handmade with love, but it’ll be done in a flash. It’s the perfect weekend knit, or, if you’re a fast knitter, it’s the perfect evening knit!

You have the option to knit this with rolled edges, ribbed edges, or a mix of the two. The pattern comes in 3 sizes, from 0-12 months. It should be appropriate for beginner knitters (but may take a little longer), and intermediate or advanced knitters will likely find this a breeze! I have included hyperlinks to video explanations of some techniques that might be less widely known. Look for the underlines!

(Please Note: The embroidery on the red stitched sweater is not included in the pattern, but is simply a representation of what could be done with the sweater. Only the pattern for the knit portion of the sweater is included, not any additional embroidery. The embroidery is a chain stitch and the image used was a snowflake found on Google, here: Snowflake Drawing I started with the centermost vertical line, then added in the other two lines that are on an angle, then did the triangle portions in the very center, then did each of the short arrow type lines.)
