This is a great and simple crochet pattern for a beginner and beyond. Pattern uses super bulky yarn or 2 strands of worsted weight yarn held together creating a thicker warmer winter hat.

Pattern includes directions for a basic beanie as well as how to add earflaps. Pattern also includes instructions to create and attach tassels and pom poms.

This pattern really is a great and versatile one! Add appliques, stripes, etc…the options to customize this one are endless.
