Super Bulky Christmas Stockings are the perfect project for when you have leftover yarn and have no idea what to do with it. As the Christmas season is approaching, it is the perfect addition to any home.

Since this pattern uses super bulky wool, it works up very quickly. If you’re running late with making gifts for your friends and family (like me), this project will be an amazing fit for you.

This stocking is worked top down, and uses wrap and turn for the heel. I recommend this pattern for intermediate knitters, but if you are an ambitious beginner, this pattern could work for you too.

What you will need:

• One skein of Cascade Magnum for main colour
• Another skein of Cascade Magnum for contrast colour
• 9mm 16” circular needles
• 9mm double pointed needles (if desired)
• Scissors
• Darning needle
• Stitch marker
• Soap for blocking

This will make approximately four stockings.

Any other super bulky yarn will also work for this pattern. I have also used We Are Knitters “The Wool” and Wool and the Gang “Crazy Sexy Wool”
