Super Bulky Wrist Warmers/Gauntlets
I decided to make these for my mother who has arthritis in her hands. She can wear these to keep her wrists and hands warm, and still have the freedom of movement that fingerless gloves have. They work up easily and quickly because of the super bulky yarn, and are really soft and comfy when you use Bernat Blanket yarn.
Materials Needed:
9.0mm or size N hook
54-60 yards of Bernat Blanket yarn (or other Super Bulky yarn of your choosing), about 1/2 of 1 skein
4.25 or size G hook for weaving in ends (much easier than trying to thread a yarn needle)
Sizing:
I sized these to an adult woman’s wrists and hands, you can adjust the number of rows on the cuff (and subsequent stitches on the edge) to make them larger or smaller as needed.
sorry, no gauge information- I crochet a bit tight if that helps.
