Enter the Super Chunk Hat. Knit either a classic, solid color or use a multitude of yummy scraps in a ton of colors to make a trendy winter statement while staying cozy and warm! The thick, ribbing combines stretch with soft structure so you can wear this with the crown pulled up at the top for a hint of rockstar! A super easy pattern with amazing results that uses a ton of scraps? Sign me UP.

This pattern was inspired by the zillions of scrap balls of yarn I have in a variety of colors, weights, and textures. I wrote this pattern based on my original, version which used a combination of DK, Bulky, Mohair, and Tweed from my stash, in various yardage amounts with 3-4 strands held together in various stripes:

Loopy Mango Dream Merino in Cafe Con Leche and Camel. We Are Knitters The Fuzzy Yarn in Marbled Pink, Lion Brand ReSpun in Rust, Lion Brand Fisherman’s Wool in Birch Tweed

Solid Versions: Single strand of We Are Knitters The Wool in Natural, Single strand of Cascade Magnum in Doeskin Heather
