A warm, chunky pair of socks is the perfect addition to any cosy day snuggled up on the sofa. These chunky socks have no cuff which means that they are loose fitting, stretchy and extra slouchy. This pattern uses double pointed needles to knit the socks in the round and the Kitchener stitch to graft the toes. The pattern will tell you how to create a rounded heel for a snug fit.

This pattern is for adult sizes, small and large.

What you will need:

• 200g Super Chunky Wool
• 12mm double pointed needles
• Blunt needle
• Stitch marker

Abbreviations
k – knit
Sl pws - slip 1 purlwise
Sl kws - slip 1 knitwise
K2tog - knit two stitches together
P2tog - purl two stitches together
Psso - pass slipped stitch over
St – stitch(es)

The pattern gives instructions for two adult sizes, the smaller is for UK sizes 5 - 7 and the larger for UK sizes 7 - 10. The pattern gives instructions for the smaller size with the large size in brackets.
