How to crochet an easy, basic Tunisian Simple Stitch earwarmer worked in super bulky yarn so it works up quickly, and there are 4 sizes included.

Hair up in a bun is my favorite way to style my hair, so my go-to cold weather accessory is a cozy earwarmer. On really cold days, you’ll find me in an earwarmer with a messy bun beanie on top.

I wanted to use yarn that I had in my stash, but some great alternatives, especially if you can’t do wool, are Mill House Super Bulky from WeCrochet, Lion Brand’s Hometown or 2-3 strands of a worsted weight yarn held together - for Red Heart Super Saver, I found I had to hold 3 strands together.

Materials:

• 45 (60, 60, 60) Yards of Super Bulky #6 Weight Yarn - I used Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick n Quick in Gray Marble
• M13/9mm Tunisian Crochet Hook & Cable
• Tapestry Needle
• Soft Tape Measure (gauge is essential)

Time Spent:
The adult small size took me about 45 minutes.
