This “spike” stitch may not sound comfy at all, but I assure you it is! I really enjoy learning new stitches, so that I can be creative with the blankets I make and add a bit of “spice” when I want to! You’ll find that for many “basic” patterns, you can just add a row of spikes that will stand out, especially if you change colors! This stitch also adds quite a bit of thickness to a blanket, even when only one strand of yarn is used. Enjoy!
