These will fit most standard mugs and allow for small variations in sizes. The finished wrap measures approximately 8cm/3” high by 25cm/10” long.

They can be used on dad’s favourite mug, or you could wrap a new mug, for it to become his favourite!

These could also customise his workplace mug, and be a sweet reminder of his family’s love while away at work.

I have used Stylecraft Special Aran 100% acrylic yarn, but you can use any Aran/Worsted weight yarn you prefer.

You will need:
Aran/Worsted weight yarn - approx. 20g/40yds of your main colour, 10g/20yds of your cape colour, and small amount of text colour,
4.5mm crochet hook or size needed for gauge,
Yarn needle,
Scissors,
A button between 10-20mm in diameter.
