The Super Easy Crochet Alien has been designed specifically with children and beginners in mind. I will try to explain all of the terms used, and will write out the pattern in words, as well as using regular crochet terminology.
This is a cute little alien figure, crocheted using the amigurumi technique in the round, is made up of an egg-shaped body, 2 flat legs with feet, 2 eyes and an embroidered (sewn on) mouth.
Choose the colours you would like to use. You can use one colour for all the pieces, or choose a different colour for the body, the legs, the eyes and the mouth.
The tension is how tightly or loosely you crochet. It is measured as the number of stitches and rows in a 4” or 10cm square. For this project, it doesn’t matter how tightly you crochet, so this is not something you need to worry about here - your alien will just be a slightly different size.
Body Size: 4.5” x 3.5”
What’s included:
An 11 page pdf crochet pattern written in US crochet terms, including images, step by step instructions and guidance. The pattern is written out in full, as well as in crochet terms, so you can learn how to read crochet patterns as you go along.
An accompanying video tutorial.
Links to video Stitch tutorials are also included as part of the pattern.
Pattern support if needed.
Difficulty level is Beginner.
